When in doubt just call the hotline

Since we align with Cape Cod Community College; whenever there is a status change here (cancellation, early closing, reopening, late opening – whatever it might be), the very first place that change is recorded is on the College’s HOTLINE 508-375-4070. If they are closed we are- if they are open we are.

Yes, a variety of radio stations, Boston TV stations, and it gets posted to the CCCC web and to the College’s cable channel (provided there is power in West Barnstable) –

BUT we can never be certain that THE EXACT message will be repeated exactly as given – and in the case of the Boston TV stations, those systems are automated with message options that are far more tailored to the K-12 systems than to higher ed….so….

We try very hard to make such decisions as early as possible, and to get the word out as quickly as possible – but…no system is perfect for everyone. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience, especially during the winter months.

Yoga

We will be starting yoga with the children every Monday!!!
When children learn techniques for self-health, relaxation, and inner fulfillment, they can navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease. Yoga at an early age encourages self-esteem and body awareness with a physical activity that’s noncompetitive. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness.
